
The
Rescue Training Institute is a private company who
specialize in the ability to create a safe workplace
for businesses, corporations and companies, large
or small. We focus on making the workplace safe
and train employees to be prepared for, and to properly
respond to medical emergencies that occur everyday,
including sudden cardiac arrest. We offer multiple
courses from Basic First Aid, to CPR with Defibrillation.
We specialize in designing an Emergency Response
Plan (ERG) specific to your companies needs.
We
employ educators throughout the area who are certified
by the Amercian Heart Association, American Red
Cross, the National Safety Council and the NYS Department
of Health to deliver health and safety training
to specific standards.

general course includes:

CPR for the adult patient including the use
of the automated external defibrillator (AED)
training. |

Liability and responsibility of the
first aid rescuer. |

Contents of a First Aid Kit and when
to bring it. |

Expected behavior of the first aid provider,
such as confidentiality and the importance
of obtaining permission to treat the respective
victim. |

Safety for the victim and rescuer. |
|
Protection of the rescuer from potential blood
borne pathogens. |
|
Activating the first link of the AHA Chain
of Survival; phoning for help and accessing
the company's emergency response plan (ERP)
or EMS system. |

Assessing a victim. |

Post emergency actions. |

Breathing problems, including choking and
allergic reactions. |

Chest pain and heart attack. |

Fainting. |

Diabetic, stroke and seizure emergencies. |

We
use a variety of teaching techniques in this course
such as video presentations, skills demonstrations,
student skill practice sessions using mannequins,
bandages, etc., along with peer practice, which
is sure to please each participant and motivate
each individual to succeed.
We
have successfully trained employees from companies

Tutor Time Adventure Day Camp and the East Tremont
Dental Associates to smaller organizations as
Roll-Rite Towing and the Nassau/Suffolk County
